District Governance
The BID will be governed by a new non-profit organization with a board of directors. Ideally, the board will consistently be comprised of the following:

  • At least three (3) commercial and/or apartment building property owners

  • At least three (3) business owners

  • At least two (2) residential property owners and/or actual residents in the district

  • At least one (1) non-profit ratepayers

  • At least one (1) artist who is a tenant, property owner or resident

 As board members are appointed, consideration will be made to ensure that there is geographic representation from across the district, as well as diversity across the board.

 The initial board of directors will include the following:
