District Governance
The BID will be governed by a newly established nonprofit organization and its Board of Directors. The Board will be structured to reflect the diverse interests and perspectives represented throughout the district. Ideally, Board composition will consistently include:
At least three (3) commercial property and/or apartment building owners
At least three (3) business owners
At least two (2) residential property owners and/or district residents
At least one (1) nonprofit ratepayer representative
At least one (1) artist who is a tenant, property owner, or resident within the district
As Board members are appointed, consideration will also be given to ensuring geographic representation from across the district
