The LV Arts District BID is intended to be a private sector led and managed entity with the following objectives:
Provide advocacy, communications, and leadership to address the most pressing challenges impacting the Las Vegas Arts District, including improving public safety, mitigating the consequences of and reducing homelessness, enhancing cleanliness, maintaining quality public spaces and promoting the area as a premium, differentiated destination for arts, culture, entertainment, food and nightlife in Las Vegas;
Strengthen the local economy by supporting the business community and attracting new investment while coordinating services such as maintenance and security to lessen the cost of doing business here while creating more opportunities for local businesses to thrive;
Provide comprehensive maintenance, tackling consistent upkeep of sidewalks and public spaces and a continued investment in ensuring the public realm has appropriate and cared-for amenities;
Drive investment, consumer spend and interest in the district through strategic marketing and unique activations that draw both locals and tourists into the district;
Create a unified voice for the district with resources – one that directly represents the owners, business, artists and stakeholders that are here, and that partners in planning and service delivery for the area with the City utilizing committed, reliable resources; and
Enhance property values and increase business activity for existing operators, offering accountability to ratepayers through a private sector-managed governance structure.
